Life on the Refrigerator Door

by Alice Kuipers
Rated G
This poignant debut novel explores the relationship between mothers and daughters in a completely unique way - as a series of notes left on the refrigerator door. Certainly, it won't take you long to read this book, but it will just as certainly touch your heart.
Claire and her mom spend their days running - Claire, absorbed in her teenage life, and her mom busy being a single mom and an obstetrician. Sometimes the only way they connect is by leaving notes for each other on the fridge, even when a sudden crisis forces them to explore their relationship on a deeper and more intimate level.
This book is 100% clean and receives a G rating - my thanks to the author for that!
